This year, we will be particularly pleased to welcome delegates from all continents, with a special mention to our colleagues from South and Latin America, with whom we share long-standing scientific ties.

Like no other meeting in our field, the SECEC Congress is a unique forum for open controversy, candid experience-sharing, and genuine scientific exchange—an inclusive, stimulating, challenging, and fully independent environment where real cases, real problems, and real research are presented and discussed.
Social events remain an essential part of the SECEC experience. In Barcelona, delegates will enjoy several opportunities to connect in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere—including a special night out for our junior members (open to everyone), as well as the famous SECEC Party, a highlight of the congress where our community gathers to celebrate, network, and enjoy time together.
Barcelona provides a truly exceptional setting for this event. In early September, the city enjoys warm, pleasant temperatures, inviting visitors to experience its Mediterranean charm. The congress will be held at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB), a modern and spacious venue located by the sea, offering an ideal environment for scientific exchange and community gathering.
