Presentation Guidelines

SECEC gives the opportunity to full and corresponding members to submit an application for an ICL to be presented during the annual congress (Rotterdam - 17-19 September 2025). The ICLs aim to provide high level up-to-date scientific content to shoulder and elbow practitioners and to encourage unbiased practice in order to improve daily care.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Your presentation must be prepared in PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF, set in landscape orientation.
  • Limit to 1-2 slides for organizational and personal introductions.
  • Use a minimum text size of 18 points and 36-point type for titles.
  • Avoid using non-standard Windows fonts and/or language-specific fonts.
  • Ensure a sharp contrast between text, graphical elements, and background.
  • Photos: Use images with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
  • Video: All videos must be downloaded and embedded in your presentation.
  • Electronic files should not be compressed or zipped.

1. SUBMITTING THE PRESENTATION FILE

TEMPLATE
  • Should your intervention require a support presentation, we would appreciate you using the official event template and presentation guidelines you will receive.
  • If you decide to use your own company’s templates, please consider adding the official event’s name in the footer of all your slides. Your presentation will be reviewed, and changes might be recommended by moderators or organisers.

SUBMISSION
  • At preview room in the main hall, behind the registration desk.
  • If you want to update your PPT, please bring your files on a USB memory stick.
  • Please visit the preview room at least 2 hours before your scheduled presentation.

Preview Room Operating Hours

  • Tuesday September, 16th: 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday September, 17th: 7:00 am to 6:30 pm
  • Thursday September, 18th: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Friday September, 19th: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

⚠ Ensure all files are tested before submission to avoid compatibility issues.

  • Presentation Code_Presenter Name (ex. 1A-1_John Doe).

2. GUIDELINES FOR TECHNICHAL SESSION

  • Q & A: 3min.
  • Total: 8min.

⚠ Ensure all files are tested before submission to avoid compatibility issues.

AVAILABLE EQUIPMENT
  • Computer running Windows (Not Mac)
  • Projector
  • Microphone
  • Podium (Equipped with a monitor, mouse, and smart pointer — no keyboard)

⚠ We DO NOT recommend using your own laptop computer for your presentation to avoid problems with computer-projector compatibility.

BEFORE YOUR PRESENTATION
  • Adhere to the allocated presentation time to ensure a smooth transition for the next speaker.
  • Arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins to prepare accordingly.
  • You will be responsible for managing and advancing your own slides during the presentation slides.
